Wildflower: blue Cichorium intybus

Cichorium flower

Cichorium is a genus of plants in the dandelion tribe within the sunflower family.
Common chicory (Cichorium intybus) is a bushy perennial herb with
blue or lavender flowers.

It grows as a wild plant on roadsides in its native Europe, and in North America.

    • Yes, I observed this to 🙂 Most of the people look at one picture in the Reader section. Maybe they follow to many blogs and don’t have time for “closer look”. I actually like analysed how others photograph things. The same place can be seen from many “angels”.
      Paris. I like this city. Few years ago I was living not far from there. I spent many weekends in Paris. But you still surprise me with some beautiful pictures of Notre Dame. I enjoy looking at them! Have a nice day yourself.
