Strange pink plant : phytolacca americana

Phytolacca americana (pokeweed) – herbaceous plant.
It is native to the eastern United States and has significant toxicity.

The flowers are green to white, followed by purple to almost black berries.
The berries are reported to be a good food source for songbirds and other bird species and
small animals unaffected by its toxins.

    • Yes, I agree with your opinion. 🙂 The photographed subjects often fascinate me. And then the observation take a longer time…and I play with the camera and look at the subject from many angles …because I am interested. I like to learn and observe!
